Expansion of Love

Sometimes we heal little bits of ourselves.

Little parts of ourselves that may have been broken or devastated by life.

Little parts of ourselves that may have been too overcome by trauma or grief to heal or process what happened.

Little parts of ourselves that we may have buried or hidden away.

Little parts of ourselves that fell in love with someone who hurt us.

Little parts of ourselves that had dreams that didn’t go as planned.

Little parts of ourselves that held our hearts out only to have it hurt or rejected.

Sometimes these parts need healing bit by bit.

Most of us are learning to trust at a greater depth (with discernment) and love at a greater depth after all that life has thrown our way.

So, we heal these little parts, bit by bit.

Bit by bit we reclaim them back into the folds of our heart for healing and reclamation.

Bit by bit, parts of our heart and soul get healed.

It gets restored.

It gets renewed.

We claim these parts of ourselves back so that we may move forward with all of us present.

So that we may move forward with all of our love and all of our soul’s wisdom.

We allow our hearts to be reborn.

Wiser. More resilient.

And somehow, with an even greater capacity to love.

How is that possible?

Because we survived.

Because we made it through everything that we’ve been through with our hearts still intact.

Because we found that despite what felt like the end,

what we thought might destroy us—didn’t.

We came back stronger.

We came back wiser.

Sometimes what seems to break our heart is actually cracking it wide open so that it can expand.

So that we can expand.

So that we can expand our capacity to love.

So, whatever you’ve been through, whatever you’re going through, know that you can heal this.

Reclaim each part of you.

Bit by bit.

Allow it to be healed.

Allow yourself to reclaim all of these parts of you and to restore wholeness.

Because what may have seemed like ‘the end’ is really just the precipice of your new beginning.

It’s not broken. It’s an expansion.

It’s your expansion of love.
