Reclaiming Your Sexual Energy (And Releasing Everyone Else’s)
Energy is a funny thing.
While the 3D physical world appears solid (e.g. You’re there, I’m over here), energy is much more fluid.
It changes. It moves. It goes over there to check that interesting thing out and then goes across the way to check another interesting thing out.
When people connect with another person, especially in an intimate way, whether sexually or emotionally, they form what are known as energy cords.
Think of these as lines of connection, kind of like when you pick up the phone and call a person, you are energetically reaching out and connecting with them.
When you end the call, the phones are no longer connected with each other however the people may still be energetically connected if there was an emotional charge to the conversation, an emotional connection, or an attachment to the person or the situation.
Ideally, you want all of your energy to be with you.
This is where cord cutting comes in.
In energy healing, we do cord cutting to release unwanted attached cords so each party can have their own energy back with themselves.
Now, when it comes to sexual energy, this can take the energetics to a whole different level.
Sexual energy is one of the most powerful energies on the planet.
When people connect sexually, whether consensually or otherwise energy cords can form as well.
When I do cord cuttings for people in an energy healing session, it is highly common to find one or two sexual cords and in some cases many sexual cords between them and other people.
Ultimately you want to release these energies so that they aren’t influencing your behavior, mood, feelings, wellbeing, etc.
Cords can form both through engaging in a sexual act directly with another person (these can create stronger cords of energy) as well as that person that checked you out at the grocery store or that person who has been pining after you for years.
People often have energy cords from incidents that occurred years ago, even decades, especially when there was a strong emotional bond, trauma, or heartbreak that the person never fully got over.
As I mentioned, sexual energy is a powerful force and when you have your sexual energy with you, awakened, healthy, well, and balanced, it can make you a highly magnetic, unstoppable force.
The key is having all of your sexual energy with you and not tied up with others’ energy unnecessarily (and letting go of other peoples' energies that you may have picked up over the years).
You can start this right now by being intentional.
Intention is a powerful thing and the moment the conscious mind is aware of something it often starts going to work for us to help us right the situation.
You can set the intention right now to release everyone else’s unwanted sexual energy from you, your body, your energy field and consciously allow yourself to let go.
You can set the intention in your mind, write it out, or say it aloud to yourself.
Next, set the intention to claim all of your sexual energy back to you.
Every last bit.
Reclaiming it back from everyone and everything.
Close your eyes and visualize this and feel.
See if you can feel the energetic shifts using intention alone.
You may feel cords releasing and more of your own energy returning to you.
Just notice.
As I mentioned, sexual energy is a powerful energy and getting completely into balance may require some deeper healing or multiple cord cuttings but starting right here and now with these simple intentional shifts can get you on track to start reclaiming your sexual energy in a more empowered and clear way.
